Because of his passion and knowledge about youth development, he provides strategic direction and develops Tsheto’s youth development programmes.
Tsheto also benefits from Thato’s creative abilities, showcased in his company, Our Creative Will, which offers a wide range of digital media capturing and editing, ranging from photography, videography and digital content editing. Through this skill he is supporting the company in its efforts to create and convert its products into a digital format that will make them accessible and align with the current environment that businesses are moving towards operating in.
Happiness is a word that best describes Thato’s essence. He uses the coaching sessions to hold the space for his clients to identify what that looks like and learn how to create happiness for themselves. This is important to him because he believes that respect is key in your interactions with people.

The Tsheto clients have the opportunity to tap into Karabo’s insights from having a background in all levels of the corporate environment, which allows him the ability to coach from a place that understands and acknowledges the client’s reality. He can do this because he is a firm believer in authenticity, because he believes that as an individual it is important to stand in your power regardless of how different you are to what is expected of you.
Karabo’s life mantra is rooted in the fact that: Trust + Effort = Rewards.

I was once a young intern, gifted, willing, hungry to learn but uncertain about my future. I didn't have clarity, confidence, or a clear picture of what was next. Like many young people today, I had potential, but I needed guidance, exposure, and someone willing to steward that potential with intention.
Through mentorship, leadership development, and being entrusted with responsibility, I began to see myself differently. I learned that leadership is not a title you arrive at one day, but a discipline you grow into. I learned how to serve, how to lead myself first, and how to navigate spaces that once felt intimidating. Most importantly, I learned the power of alignment between purpose, preparation, and faith.
The Tsheto Youth Initiative exists because I know what is possible when young people are partnered with, not pitied. When they are equipped, not overlooked. When they are seen, guided, and challenged to rise.
I believe that where there is youth, there is ultimately revolution, not chaos, but transformation. A revolution of thinking, leadership, innovation, and faith-driven impact. Our mission is to walk alongside young people as they discover who they are, what they carry, and how they can contribute meaningfully to society.
This is more than a programme. It is a bridge between potential and purpose. It is a space for growth, leadership, and becoming.

Having experienced the challenges of unemployment during my own youth, I intimately understand the transformative power of guidance and support. This profound realization ignited a fire in me to dedicate my life to partner young people to unlock their full potential and embrace their distinctive leadership qualities.
At the heart of my mission is a vision of creating a life-changing and inclusive space through the Tsheto Youth Initiative, where young minds can thrive.
Guided by values of empowerment, inclusivity, and excellence, I am committed to providing mentorship, educational resources, and innovative programs that encourage resilience and personal growth.
I firmly believe that every young person has the capacity to be a changemaker, and it is my greatest joy to witness them evolve into confident and impactful leaders who can shape a better future for themselves and their communities.
As I embark on this transformative journey, my ultimate dream is to inspire a generation of empowered individuals who recognize their boundless potential and fearlessly pursue their dreams, making a positive and lasting impact on the world around them.

As a mentor at Tsheto Youth Initiative, my work resonates deeply with my own journey. I understand what it means to be met where you are and supported toward where you are meant to be. This allows me to connect authentically with young people, offering practical guidance, mentorship, coaching and tools for self-sustainability. The value I bring lies in turning experience into empowerment, helping others bridge the gap between potential and purpose.

I excel in planning, communication, and problem-solving, which enables me to support my teams effectively and maintain a productive working environment. My project management abilities include scheduling, resource coordination, stakeholder communication, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. In addition to my administrative and project management responsibilities, I am also passionate about mentoring. I enjoy guiding individuals through their professional development, offering support, clarity, and encouragement as they grow in their roles.
As a Tsheto Youth Initiative Mentor, I am detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, consistently bringing structure and clarity to my work. Whether managing daily administrative duties, leading project tasks, I contribute positively to team performance and maintain a high standard of professionalism in everything I do.
